SPEED LIMIT
Changes in July 2018 : 80 Km (50 Miles) per hour instead of 90 Km (60 Miles) per hour
This applies on simple roadway.
On dual roadway, the speed limit is still between 90 Km (60 Miles) and 110 Km (68 Miles) per hour. On Motorways, 130 km (81 Miles) is still the maximum speed allowed.
Old bikes forbidden in PARIS since the 1st of July 2016
Bikes registered before 31th May 2000 (before EURO1 standard) are concerned
APPROVED GLOVES and HELMETS (see on white labels)
The gloves have to be EN 13594 certified since th 20th of November 2016
The last rules for helmet is ECE 22-05. France requires 4 fluo stickers.
2018 roadtrip in Scotland
We rented our bikes in CUPAR, one hour north east of Edinburgh. They are really nice there.

5th : TALLADALE – ULLAPOOL – CLASHNESSIE
6th : CLASHNESSIE – DURNESS – BETTYHILL
7th : BETTYHILL – GOLSPIE – INVERNESS
8th : INVERNESS – AVIEMORE – PITLOCHRY – DUNDEE – CUPAR
